After learning that my daughter had dyslexia and dysgraphia, I began my career as an Intervention Specialist which led me to complete my Orton-Gillingham Approach Certification. When my daughter no longer needed my support I began working with other students using the Orton-Gillingham phonics approach which is especially designed for students that have attention deficits needs, dysgraphia, dyslexia and auditory deficit needs. I apply everything I have learned with my daughter when working on subjects such as Reading, Math and Writing when working with my students.  I love working with students that need direct instruction in the process of learning and individual attention.
